According to a recent press released from the State Administration for Market Regulation ("SAMR") and the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC), 454 New GB Standards ("GB", "GuoBiao") were approved on 17 September 2018 and will be released, e.g. automobile wheel safety performance requirements and test methods, indoor fire hydrant, etc.

According to a joint announcement by the SAMR ("State Administration for Market Regulation") and the CNCA ("Certification and Accreditation Administration of the PRC") on 15 June 2018, a new certification procedure "self-declaration" were firstly introduced in China and it comes into force on 1 October 2018. This new certification procedure is avaiable for a list of selected products that are within the scope of CCC Product category. Recently, a list of by CNCA accredited test labs were invited to test the new platform, which calls CCC Product Self Declaration Conformity Information Submission System (see here). Companies in China can register for this platform. The prerequisite condition for the registration is that the company must have a place of business and legal personality in China. on 11 June 2018, a list of products were deleted from the ccc category, which means these products are no longer subject to China CCC Certification (see "CCC product category changed"). According to a recent accouncement released by the CNCA ("Certification and Accreditation Administration of the PRC"), for those non-ccc products, factory should stop using ccc mark. If it is not possible for some reasons, such as, the CCC mark is affixed by molding or printing on the product, factory can use ccc mark until natural transition e.g. through tools adaptation, inventory turnover of products or packaging, etc. If the factory affixes the standard CCC mark ("sticker") on the product, the CCC mark shall not be affixed from the date of invalidation of the CCC certificate.

According to a recent announcement by the CNCA ("Certification and Accreditation Administration of the PRC", "中国国家认证认可监督管理委员"), a new implementation rules for E-bike CNCA-C11-16: 2018 was released on 19 July 2018,and it comes into force on 1 August 2018.
