According to a recent joint announcement by the SAMR ("State Administration for Market Regulation") and the CNCA ("Certification and Accreditation Administration of the PRC""), 12 products were deleted from the China CCC catalog, i.e. these products are not ccc relevant from the 5th december 2018. Geely and Smart Eye cooperation

according to the latest press from CAAM, China Geely Auto Group will work with Smart Eye in Sweden to develop a series of high-end automotive safety systems using Smart Eye's artificial intelligence (AI) driver-monitoring (DMS) technology. This may make semi-automatic driving possible. By studying the movement of the eyes, face and head, Smart Eye's technology helps to understand the attention of Geely's drivers, whether they are focused and whether they are dozing off while driving. The purpose of this technology is to understand and assist the driver in taking action in a risky traffic situation. The vast majority of traffic accidents in the world are caused by drivers' inattention or injury, such as using mobile devices, chatting with other passengers, or sudden illness. As a result, Smart Eye has developed driver monitoring technology to prevent traffic accidents and save lives. This driver monitoring technology will work with the first level 3 advanced driver assistance system and enhance advanced driver assistance system functions for Geely.

Tesla increased price of Model S and Model X in China

As the China-US trade war heats up, on July 6, China’s import tariff on US vehicles raised from 15% to 40%. Affected by this, Tesla's products sold in the Chinese market have all raised prices.
