GB-Standards revision work in light industry in process

According to a recent press released by the China National Light Industry Council, the light industry will focus its efforts on safety standards and accelerate the preparation and revision of a number of mandatory national standards ("GB Standard","国标") in the fields of home appliances, lighting, children's products, and toys to provide more protection for consumer safety. In these fields, they have accelerated the development of international standards comparisons and conversions, and strive to achieve 95% compliance with international standards by the end of 2018.

Procedures

The CCC certification process consists of eight phases: application, verification of documents, provision of test samples, testing of samples, factory inspection, conformity assessment, certificate approval, certificate issuance.
