New Chinese GB Standard GB 19152-2016 engine vehicle headlamps asymmetric passing beam or a beam or both was released on 30 December 2016 and entered into force on 1 January 2017. This has replaced the standard GB 19152-2003 and a part of GB 5948-1998. If your products have already been certified before the introduction of the new standard, it is necessary to perform extra tests with the new standard.

Recently, China Inspection and Quarantine Bureau ("CIQ"), Hefei Airport Office of AnHui, has reviewed a shipment of switches that have been exported to China and determined that the product has a valid CCC certificate but no valid mark approval (" Permission of Printing "). This violates the requirements of "China Certification and Accreditation Regulation" and "CCC Product Certification Management Regulation". After no effective measures were taken by the export company, the products were scrapped by CIQ (Source: CNCA News).

Audi is reversing the trend and is selling more cars in China again. Previously, the VW subsidiary in Ingolstadt suffered a sell-down in its most important market. The reason was a conflict with local traders.

Ingolstadt Audi is back on track for growth in China after settling the dispute with the car dealers. The Ingolstadt-based VW subsidiary sold nearly 52,000 cars in its most important market in June, 1.7 percent more than a year ago. Due to the conflict with the dealers, the sales had shrunk for six months. That's why Audi sold only 909,000 cars in the first half of the year - 4.7 percent fewer than in the same period last year.

Sales Director Dietmar Voggenreiter said on Friday: "June has confirmed that the trend for Audi is developing positively in all regions of the world. After a difficult first half of the year, we expect a stronger second half of the year given the current order situation. "The new flagship A8, which celebrates its world premiere next week and will be launched towards the end of the year, should also contribute to this. Worldwide, Audi sold almost 171,000 cars in June - 1.0 percent more than a year ago. In Europe, the group grew a good two percent, in the US even more than five percent.

Voggenreiter sees the reorganization in China as a "door opener to the market potential of the coming decade". Audi wants to build and sell cars in China not only with the FAW Group, but also with the SAIC Group as the second partner. This had greatly unsettled the previous dealers. Audi agreed a joint dealer and sales network with all those involved at the end of May.
